The Toronto Right to Life Annual General Meeting took a new,
family-oriented approach this year!
Our fantastic venue was
Northmount School, and the event featured many activities for children and adults including a BBQ, a bouncy castle, face-painting, a colouring contest, and a Fun Facts About Life 4 Kidz table, as well as a Right to Life trivia contest, baked goods, books and other pro-life materials for adults. During the formal part of the AGM, babysitting was provided in the school's wonderful childrens' library.

After 10 great years as Toronto Right to Life President, Elizabeth Tan stepped down from her position to focus on her family. She was presented the Gwendolyn Landolt Award for outstanding pro-life leadership by new Toronto Right to Life President, Tanzel Picard.

Kelden Formosa, recipient of the Laura McArthur Award for outstanding pro-life leadership by a youth, gave an inspiring and eloquent acceptance speech, noting that the young people he attends school with are more open to the pro-life message than one might imagine.
After 38 active years, Toronto Right to Life was sad to say goodbye to Jean Murphy, who has retired from the board. She was honoured with a special award, The Joseph Grwyzna Award for lifetime commitment to the pro-life movement.

Executive Director Paul Klotz hosted a light-hearted Right to Life themed Trivial Quest game with the adult attendees at the AGM following his Executive Directors Report. The first to answer each question correctly was presented with a rose.
All in all, it was a wonderful, life-affirming event, and Toronto Right to Life would like to thank one and all who attended!
We hope to see you next year when we....

...once again!
